” I first came to Terri because I was going through a tough time with OCD (I have the Pure O type of OCD) and was feeling incredibly scared, lost and desperate to get help. I had done a lot of research into CBT therapists that worked with people with OCD and found Terri online. I knew after my first few sessions with her that I’d found the right person. Terri is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and has worked with a lot of people with OCD, so I felt comfortable being open about my experience and Terri listened without judgement. She recommended a book for me to start reading before our first session which helped me understand what I was going through and at each session she listened and guided me so that I had tools to take away with me to start my journey to recovery. I have a tendency to talk a lot, and Terri kindly and gently kept me on track so that we focused on moving forward rather than going round in circles just talking. When I was experiencing times of real panic and upset, Terri would be calm and put everything back into perspective for me, so I could continue getting better.
