Associate Therapists

I strongly believe people accessing therapy deserve to work with therapists who are highly experienced and knowledgeable. I receive a high volume of enquiries for support, and to help keep waiting times as short as possible I work with associate therapists who are fully qualified and highly experienced, sometimes in different areas of expertise to myself.

Any associates have been specifically selected for their knowledge, passion and experience. They are all BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapists who also receive supervision from myself and are committed to staying up to date with their knowledge.

If I do not have capacity to see you, or if I do not feel I would be a good fit for your problem, it may be that I recommend an associate if I believe they would be a good fit instead.

Below are current associates I may recommend:

Di Hu – Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

Hello! My name is Di and I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over four years of clinical experience across NHS and private mental health services. I help adults understand what is happening beneath their difficulties while developing practical ways to make meaningful changes.

I offer evidence-based CBT alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring our work to your individual needs. I don’t believe therapy should be about simply giving you techniques or, on the other hand, talking without direction. We’ll work together to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and find practical ways forward that fit your life.

I regularly work with a range of mental health issues, and I specialise in the following aspects :

• OCD

• Health Anxiety

• Stress and work-related stress (burnout)

• Depression and low mood

• Low self-esteem and self-criticism

• Trauma and PTSD

Relevant Qualifications

• MSc Cognitive behavioural Therapy, Goldsmiths  University of London

• MSc Psychological Science,  UCL

• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Foundational Training

• Trauma-Focused CBT, for all ages
